Just as expected, Roederer has managed to resist the temptation to make a wine that is too generous and grand. We are only allowed to imagine the greatness and the time in the glass is extremely important in the current situation. Wonderfully elegant creaminess and citrus-scented elegance. A matter of taste and a question for choosing the occasion which of Roederers 08 'one prefers. The most wonderful thing is to have this Blanc de Blancs side by side with the usual vintage wine. 05/2022

The 2008 Blanc de Blancs offers a very subtle and substantial, multi-layered bouquet of wet chalk, hazelnuts, stewed apples, lemons, toast, jasmine. Full-bodied and vibrant, this is a highly elegant, very mineral, pure, fresh, firm, tense and persistent Champagne of great complexity. It is still very young but has a great aging potential.
