Château Ferrière 2025 3e Cru Classé, Margaux AC, MC (lieferbar Mitte 2028)

Ratings & tasting notes

90-92

Antonio Galloni

Vinous

The 2025 Ferrière is laced with dark blueberry fruit, crème de cassis, lavender, menthol and licorice. Inky and unctuous in feel, with striking mid-palate sweetness, the 2025 is a total charmer. The blend is 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc, including all 6 hectares of old-vine Merlot. Yields were just 25 hectoliters per hectare. Firm chocolatey tannins support the finish. There's a lot of substance here, and good potential too. 04/2026

James Suckling

James Suckling

A refined texture, with red currants, cherries and bark on a medium body with fine and caressing tannins and a long, bright finish. Firm and crunchy at the end. A blend of 66% cabernet sauvignon, 24% merlot, 6% petit verdot and 4% cabernet franc. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. 04/2026
