                        Wine produced by the renowned Allegrini family,  symbol of Valpolicella – Produced only for the best vintages ( first vintage 2011). Single vineyard from a 420m altitude site on La Grola Hill in Valpolicella
First Amarone to receive a 100 points (Decanter): both 2015 & 2016 vintages received 100 points Decanter. Blend: Corvina Veronese 45%, Corvinone 45%, Rondinella 5%, Oseleta 5%. Drying process: in “fruttaio”. The grapes lose 40 to 45% of the original weight. Ageing : Maturation takes place in new French oak barriques for a minimum of 48 months. After the blending, the wine rests for 6 months before bottling. It ages for further minimum 12 months in bottle before being released
