Stephen Tanzer

Vinous

Deep red, the darkest of these 2012s. Very ripe aromas of black raspberry liqueur and bitter chocolate. Rich, dry, fine-grained and deep, with very ripe dark fruit flavors accented by spices, black pepper and a stemmy nuance. Finishes saline, spicy and very long, with a positive hint of youthful bitterness and excellent energy and lift. 11/2014
