The 2024 Beauregard is a very pretty wine. Lifted floral and spice top notes lead into a core of blue/purplish fruit, lavender, cloves and licorice. Medium in body, with lovely depth, Beauregard is impeccably balanced. The oak, for example, is better integrated than it has been in some years. The same is true for the tannins, which are quite silky. The 2024 is a bit light in structure, as most wines are in this vintage, but its balance is beyond reproach. Tased two times. 04/2025

The 2024 Beauregard was cropped at 22.5 hl/ha between September 23 and October 4 and matured in 40% new oak. It has a charming bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, truffle oil and a light smoky scent. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and crisp acidity. It's a little compact toward the finish, where this may lack some complexity. But barrel age might well broaden this Pomerol out and turn it into an early-drinking Pomerol with plenty of buvabilité. 04/2025

Based on 67% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon from clay and limestone soils, the 2024 Château Beauregard reveals ripe black cherries, spicy wood, and floral notes. Another pure, elegant, medium-bodied wine from this talented team, I love its purity, and it has fine tannins, nicely integrated oak, and a great finish. The wine sees 40% new oak during its 16- to 18-month élevage. 05/2025

Couleur sombre, aux reflets grenat. Nez intense, au fruité mûr et subtil. Délicat à l'attaque, suave et parfumé en milieu de bouche, le vin évolue agréable, savoureux, sur une longueur normale, sans marquer le tannin. C'est bon et c'est du Beauregard. Assemblage : 67 % merlot, 24 % cabernet franc, 9 % cabernet sauvignon. Degré d'alcool : 13°. 04/2025
