The 2024 Chasse-Spleen takes time to cohere in the glass. This is a bit musty at first, though it gains fresh red berry fruit and light pencil shaving scents that emerge with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannins on the entry. This is a strict Chasse-Spleen that's a bit "rigid" and is missing some flesh toward the finish. The 2024 will require a very "hands off" élevage. 04/2025
