The 2019 Corbin has retained that estuarine aspect on the nose, which is well-defined with lifted blackberry and raspberry fruit, the Cabernet Franc quite expressive. The polished palate features supple tannins, dark-chocolate-tinged red fruit, leather and white pepper, though it needs a little more delineation and freshness on the finish. 12/2021

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Corbin needs a little coaxing to reveal fresh, pure notes of crushed blackberries, black raspberries and black cherries plus hints of pencil lead, bay leaves, tilled soil, underbrush and fungi. Medium to full-bodied, that wonderful purity of crunchy black fruits continues on the palate, with an approachable frame of rounded tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on a fragrant earth note. 06/2022
