The 2025 Croizet-Bages has a light tobacco- and sous-bois-scented nose that just needs to muster more fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with gritty tannins, modest depth, but it tapers towards a rather rustic finish. I suspect it will gain more coherence in barrel, but this is a bit underwhelming in the context of the growing season. 05/2026
