The 2025 Grand Puy Ducasse is a gorgeous, racy wine. Silky red/purplish fruit, lavender, rose petal build in the glass. More than anything else, the wine's balance is terrific. Grand Puy Ducasse remains a bold, fruity Pauillac, but its balance is commendable. All the elements are so well proportioned. 04/2026

The 2025 Grand Puy Ducasse has a very succinct nose. At first, it feels maybe a bit underpowered, yet with a few swirls it reveals gorgeous blackberry, cedar and violet scents that blossom over time. The palate is medium-bodied with very lithe and supple tannins, well-judged acidity and commendable cohesion on the finish. This vastly improved Pauillac should be more approachable than some of its peers, yet it has the substance to age in bottle. 05/2026

Cassis, graphite, spicy wood, and floral nuances all define the 2025 Château Grand-Puy Ducasse, a beautiful effort ranking with the best wines from this château. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, graceful mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and wonderful overall balance. It's a beautifully classic, satisfying Pauillac in the making. Tasted twice with consistent notes. 05/2026

Assemblage traditionnel : 66 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 31 % Merlot, 3 % Petit Verdot. Degré d'alcool : 13° 04/2026

Medium- to full-bodied with precise, delineated fruit. There is a savory touch and a firm finish, with overall balance between structure and fruit. Finesse through but plenty behind. A blend of 66% cabernet sauvignon, 31% merlot and 3% petit verdot. 04/2026
