Floral and spice aromatics resonate on the palate, where the wine is layered and delicate without sacrificing depth. The 2024 La Fleur-Pétrus was picked from September 17 to 28 and aged in 50% new oak. This does not have the amplitude or complexity of the Trotanoy on the nose and it's green around the edges. The palate is medium-bodied and lightly spiced, with supple tannins and a dash of black pepper and tobacco. The finish demonstrates decent weight and character for the vintage. I appreciate the aftertaste here that lingers in the mouth. This is capable! 04/2025

One of the deeper-hued wines from the Moueix team, the 2024 Château La Fleur-Pétrus is 99.5% Merlot and 0.5% Petit Verdot, harvested entirely in September and now resting in 50% new oak. It shows beautiful notes of black raspberries, cassis, graphite, savory flowers, and lead pencil. Medium-bodied, it has a layered, balanced mouthfeel, ripe, building tannins, and a great finish. This is a beautiful, elegant, and incredibly complete Pomerol that offers plenty to love. I wouldn't be surprised to see it play with the top wines of the vintage. 05/2025

Medium-bodied, this has creamy tannins, a juicy finish and a bit of fresh acidity at the end. Pretty length. A blend of 99.5% merlot and 0.5% petit verdot. 04/2025
