The 2024 La Pointe is a very sexy Pomerol. Aromatic and silky, with lovely finesse, La Pointe is terrific. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, cedar and mocha are finely delineated in this mid-weight, vibrant 2024. 04/2025

The 2024 La Pointe has a deep colour and a comparatively powerful bouquet of opulent black and blueberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a structured opening. Graphite-tinged black fruit leads to a sapid and quite structured finish. This is a linear La Pointe that maybe just needs a little more sustain, but it should repay a couple of years in the cellar. 04/2025
