The 2025 Rauzan Gassies was picked September 8 to 20 and matured in 55% French oak for a planned 18 months. It has a potent nose with scents of strawberry and raspberry pastilles. It is just missing the complexity of its Margaux peers, though there is nothing unattractive about it. The palate is medium-bodied, with dry tannins, mocha and powdered dark chocolate obscuring the red brambly fruit underneath. It just seems off the pace in a vintage when many Margaux estates thrived. 05/2026

An impressive Margaux from this estate, the 2025 Château Rauzan-Gassies reveals red and black fruits, spicy wood, and meaty, savory, and herbal nuances on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with terrific concentration, ripe, nicely integrated tannins, and outstanding length. I suspect this is up with the finest vintages from this château. 05/2026

Délicat en entrée de bouche, savoureux au milieu, avec un séquençage de la stimulation plus élaborée que parfois, le vin évolue juteux et long, avec du goût et enfin de la classe dans le toucher. C'est très bon. Assemblage : 72 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 28 % Merlot. Degré d'alcool : 13°5. 04/2026
