They are gorgeous, these Comtes! The new, fruity and more Chardonnay-propelled style—introduced when the '95 entered the market—is a great triumph. It feels terribly luxurious and delicious to sip this wine. The aromas are creamy and refreshing, with notes of raspberry ice cream, and the feeling on the palate is silky and caressing. It's difficult not to be in a good mood when treated to such a wine. Note also the exceptional quality of the mousse.
