Inside Burgundy

70 to 80 year old vines in Vignottes and two plots in Essarts. The Côte de Nuits-Villages has both the highest alcohol and acidity in the cellar. The colour is almost black though the bouquet retains its pinot quality. Slightly crumbly dark black fruit on the palate with a lightly tarry element, but still good. Tasted Nov 2021.
