The deep and homogeneous, ruby colored 2018 Pinot Noir offers a pure, fresh and intense yet elegant and complex bouquet of perfectly ripe red fruits intertwined with toasty and saline or flinty notes. Silky, lush and sweet but also highly refined and elegant on the palate, this is a generous, warm, fleshy and concentrated, sweet and charming Pinot with great aging potential. This is an extraordinary Pinot from an extraordinary vintage. This is tight and tensioned, with fine and ripe but grippy tannins perfectly intertwined with crystalline salinity. Tasted at the domaine in March 2022. 03/2022

Very engaging, spicy nose with notes of dried lemon peel, red cherry and just a hint of smoke. However, this barely prepares you for the freshness and vitality of this wine on the palate. The concentration and power sneak up on you at the ripe yet creamy finish, which shows staggering harmony for the very warm vintage. Doesn’t want to stop giving! Drink or hold. 01/2022
