The 2022 L'Aurage has a powerful nose with intense black cherry and raspberry coulis scents, without the pine I observed from barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with attractive black and blue fruit, hints of white pepper and cumin. It has a precise and intense finish that retains a sense of poise. This is superb. 01/2025
