From all three plots, including 45 of their 50 rows of Echezeaux du Dessus (the produce of the other 5 being bottled separately as Cuvée 1949). Rich even purple, an attractive if discreet bouquet, then a sweet ripe dark fruit, very succulent. For the moment the detail is lacking but this will emerge. The acidity is lowish but adequate, and there is no heat expression. Tasted Nov 2020.
