Inside Burgundy

The Millot Echezeaux is predominantly from Echezeaux du Dessus (1949 and 1980 plantings), along with Les Poulaillères and Clos St-Denis. Lovely red crimson colour. Florally detailed, plus a little oak as well. 20% whole bunch just adds a little touch of liveliness. The oak will need to quieten down which it will. The 2022 Jean-Marc Millot is particularly persistent, and yet again a really fine grain of tannins Tasted Nov 2023.
