Another fine luxurious purple with an energetic nose. Actually, this Gevrey is quite discreet at first, but the wine is sensational on the palate, just on the cusp of red and black, enough of the classical savoury finish to prevent the ripeness getting out of hand. Beautifully managed and very persistent. Tasted Nov 2020.
