The 2025 Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte has a slightly earthier bouquet with red berry fruit, gravel and light tobacco scents unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip on the entry, very Cabernet-driven with black fruit laced with tobacco and graphite notes towards the finish. It will flesh out during its barrel maturation (10% new) and should drink well for a decade or more. 05/2026

Notes of smoky tobacco, blackcurrants, scorched earth, and gravelly earth all emerge from the 2025 Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte, the second wine of Smith Haut Lafitte and a terrific effort in the vintage. Based on 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, it's rich and medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a pure, concentrated, layered style, ripe tannins, and a great finish. 05/2026

Beau rouge sombre, intense. Nez très aromatique, fin, fruité, avec une nuance de cassis le rendant médocain. Crémeux à l'agitation du verre. Gras dès le départ en bouche, le vin se serre peu à peu dans son déroulé, reste juteux, prend du parfum et continue de glisser malgré le relief tanique. Equilibre sur le fil du rasoir. L'élevage devrait l'assouplir et pourrait le grandir. C'est très bon. Assemblage : 60 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 40 % Merlot. Degré d'alcool : 13°5 - pH : 3,6. Elevage : 10 % de barriques neuves. 04/2026
