The 2020 Riesling is lemon-yellow in color and precise, stony and fresh on the nose, with aromas of citrus fruits, especially lime, which combine in a classic way with the scent of gray Bündner slate. Cool and spicy on the palate, characterized by slate, this is reminiscent of Rieslings from the Mosel and Nahe (Hermannshöhle!). The 2020 is elegant yet surprisingly cool, delicate and light-footed and wonderfully mineral on the palate without being demanding. It is a quiet, subtle, weightless and heavenly Riesling with notes of broken rock. The acidity is elegant, ripe and playful but not at all racy and plays around ripe, finely juicy fruit. This is a quiet, great Riesling that is extremely long and savory, even if it is just pulling back a little. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in March 2024. 03/2024
