The NV Brut Rosé For Albanne (2014 base) is fresh, chiseled and super-finessed. Cranberry, mint, white pepper and floral notes are nicely delineated in this weightless, gracious Rosé. I very much like the focus and energy here. Rosé For Albanne is 55% Chardonnay and 45% saignée of Pinot Meunier made by Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, based on the 2014 vintage.

The NV Rosé for Albane Brut is a blend of 55% Le Mesnil Grand Cru Chardonnay and 45% saignée de Meunier from Cumières that fermented in stainless steel. This is based on 2012 and was disgorged in December 2015 with a dosage of 7.3 grams. Dressed in lovely pink, this is a beautifully clear and fresh-flavored Rosé with delicate cherry flavors, along with floral notes. Very pure, round and fresh on the palate, this Champagne has delicate fruit, and stimulating grip and tension in the finish. This is a delicious Rosé with very good ageing potential.
